Kolby Tullier on the importance of expanding your golf fitness training footprint:
After more than two decades in golf fitness, I am taking my concepts and programming to athletes nationwide with several new satellite training centers. We opened our first location of “The Stable” in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in November 2024 and in Scottsdale, Arizona in January 2025. We look forward to opening in Atlanta, Georgia soon! Having always been interested in rotary sports, I have created a training regimen system that delivers the full functional performance package, including movement patterns and planes of motion that are sport-specific for each of our athletes. Working on these movements in the gym will help our clients apply them more successfully on their particular field of play. I’ve also just finished writing a handbook on creating a “Stable”-certified trainer, which will help facilitate a three-day course through which trainers from all over the world can come in and learn my training methodology, the same system I’ve been using with some of the world greatest sports competitors for more than 20 years. Once these coaches and trainers become certified, they will have access to a digital platform that will contain more than 2,000 exercises that the newly certified trainers can use as protocols to deliver results to their clients. This library is the result of many years of research, engagement and education on my part, as well as implementation of concepts that have proven successful with athletes from multiple sports and a wide variety of skill levels.
Kolby Tullier on the business impact of expanding your golf fitness training footprint:
Our message is consistent throughout our team’s engagement with clients. Stressing gains in the gym is the lowest-hanging fruit. You can get strong. But we want to see how the body moves in a dynamic pattern. After all, you can be as strong as you want, but if you don’t have the base, stability or mobility to handle it from a neuromuscular standpoint, it’s all for nothing. You can be strong and not be pliable or perform inefficiently with strength alone. My methodology peels back the layers of the onion to go deep into the core and fix athletes from the inside out. We want to see how their bodies move and how they adhere to the patterns of the sports they’re playing. Training rotary sports athletes in linear patterns will not reap the desired results. We stay within the pillars of human movement and believe we can get results out of any human on the planet. Understanding the output from our extensive initial assessment enables us to individualize training and make it specific to each athlete’s initial capabilities. Our trainer certification program will be an in-person curriculum and will be supplemented by seminars and continuing education training sessions. We are a hands-on organization. In addition, clients can see trainers in the new brick-and-mortar locations and enjoy the amenities through a membership model.
