The Seagate Country Club is one of three membership clubs associated with The Seagate Hotel & Spa in Delray Beach, Florida. Our 1,800 sq. ft. Wellness Center was recently modernized with 35 new pieces of equipment that replaced all of the older equipment. We worked with Technogym, the official equipment supplier of the PGA Tour, to deliver Phase 1 of a rather expansive project that will advance our facility well into the future.
With this vision of growth in mind, we have welcomed 115 new members since the fourth quarter of 2020 and now have a waiting list of more than 100 families. We are more family-oriented than ever, and we saw a need to show new families, as well as existing members and guests, our continued commitment to providing a complete country club experience.
A property-wide renovation will take place over the next three years that includes a brand new 7,500 sq. ft. Wellness Center. Having had experience with Technogym equipment in the past, we appreciate that their innovative tools and technology are tailored for both beginner and advanced athletes. Technogym’s National Manager of Country and Leisure Clubs, Todd Shaw evaluated our space for maximize usage. Shaw determined our member needs and helped formulate a plan to meet their expectations and satisfy the mission of our facility.
Members can now get the most out of the services that our club offers through Technogym’s My Wellness app whether at the Wellness Center, at home or elsewhere. The app also contains a library of 300 on-demand classes that members can view at their leisure – we will soon be adding videos created on-location at the country club.
The Seagate Hotel & Spa also features an exclusive beach club and yacht club. The 154-room historic getaway and beach-inspired hotel offers the luxury of a resort with the intimacy of a casual retreat, with a strong connection to its community. The property offers a full-service spa and fitness center, multiple pools, several distinctive dining venues, meeting spaces totaling 14,000 square feet, Har-Tru tennis courts and wildlife observation.
With a greater focus on wellness and healthy living, members now come to The Seagate with a variety of goals in mind – weight loss, golf swing improvement flexibility and mobility improvement, and more. Our upgrades have created a safe and enjoyable space that families can utilize to share a healthier lifestyle and increased sense of community.
